The Extreme Wreck Fishing Expedition is a serious day on the water. We leave the pier at 07:00 and run three to four hours offshore to the wreck zone. By the time you're dropping a jig, you're far enough out that the coastline is a memory.
Our heavy setups are loaded for grouper and the bigger snappers — slow jigs in the 200 – 300 gram range, plus live bait when we have it. Light tackle stays on board for surface action between drifts.
Realistic expectations matter. Wreck fishing can be feast or famine. Some days you'll boat a 20kg grouper in the first hour. Other days you'll work the spot hard and bring back two or three solid fish. Either way, you've fished water most people will never see.
